Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after BT Sport posted footage of Fikayo Tomori making a brilliant tackle for AC Milan.
What’s the story?
Well, on Sunday, the England international made a challenge so good it went viral, as AC Milan beat Atalanta by a 3-2 scoreline.
However, it left Leeds fans annoyed.
Why? Well, it was basically the exact same tackle Pascal Struijk made on Harvey Elliott, which saw the Dutchman sent off.
Both Tomori and Struijk used their body to edge their man out of the way, before reaching a leg in to scoop the ball away.
Unfortunately for Struijk – and Elliott of course – the Liverpool man’s ankle gave way under the weight of his body.
Understandably, Leeds fans are annoyed that they were punished for making a tackle which is now receiving worldwide praise after Tomori made it too.
Leeds were hard done by after Pascal Struijk tackled Harvey Elliott

It speaks volumes that Craig Pawson initially didn’t even kick a freekick for Struijk’s tackle, until he witnessed the damage to Elliott.
Jürgen Klopp also had time to make an appearance on the pitch before Pawson eventually decided to get his red card out.
It was weak refereeing from Pawson, in our view. Just because some damage was done doesn’t mean the tackle was an illegal one.
All football fans want to see is some consistency.

If Tomori was also sent off last night, then there’s no problem.
However, for one to be lauded while another gets punished just isn’t good enough.
For now, let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying about the 19-second footage from Serie A…
