Tyler Roberts returned to action for Leeds United at the weekend, but he couldn’t stop his team from suffering a defeat at the hands of newly-promoted Charlton.

Tyler Roberts has expressed his frustration on Instagram at Leeds United losing at Charlton over the weekend, but he admitted that he was pleased to be back in action for his side.
Roberts, who has been on the sidelines because of an injury, earned his first minutes of the new Championship campaign at the Valley, as he came on as a second-half substitute.
He couldn’t prevent his team from dropping more valuable points, as Leeds United’s former player, Lee Bowyer, walked away with the three points.
After the game, this was the message Roberts sent to his supporters, as posted on his personal Instagram account:

Roberts moved to Elland Road from then-Premier League side West Brom for £4 million in 2018 [Daily Mail], but on Tuesday night he is set to come up against his former club once again.
It is perhaps too early for Roberts to start a game for Leeds, but he may well come off the substitutes bench and have an impact.
Slaven Bilic’s West Brom will make the trip to Yorkshire as their unbeaten record will be on the line, but three points at Elland Road would extend their lead at the top of the table.
But this is where Leeds at times prove their worth and show what they are about because if they can pick up a win here then it would send a serious message to the rest of the league.
