Patrick Bamford scored the only goal of the match between the two sides as early as the ninth minute.
Roberts started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and the 20-year-old striker has taken to Twitter to revel in the win.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Ashton Gate Stadium on Saturday afternoon, visitors Leeds had 53% of the possession, took 16 shots of which three were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.

The result means that Leeds are second in the Championship table at the moment with 70 points from 36 matches, just two points behind leaders Norwich City.
The Whites will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Reading away from home in the Championship.
