Tyler Roberts earned a rare bit of game time for Leeds United on Saturday.

The Wales attacker was a 61st-minute cameo as Leeds lost 2-1 at Stoke City.

Roberts, a £4 million signing from West Brom this time last year [Daily Mail], has only managed 40 minutes of Championship football since November.

But he impressed after replacing Jack Harrison in Saturday’s setback at the Potters.

Here is how the Leeds ace reacted to the result on Twitter:

Roberts is being used as a number 10 more and more in recent weeks and it’ll be interesing to see if that’s where Marcelo Bielsa sees him playing in the long term.

He was signed as a striker, but it seems like the Argentine coach has other plans for now and time will tell whether he is right to modify his position.

Leeds, who sit top of the Championship, still boast a four-point cushion in the automatic promotion spots after Sheffield United also lost today.

Leeds United's Tyler Roberts goes close in the second half during the Sky Bet Championship match between Millwall and Leeds United at The Den on September 15, 2018 in London, England.
