Leeds United were thrashed 4-1 at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday night.

Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts has told the Daily Mail that he has yet to see manager Marcelo Bielsa ‘blow up’ with anger at his side – even after Saturday’s 4-1 defeat at West Bromwich Albion.
The Whites headed into the weekend sitting top of the Championship table, but fell apart at The Hawthorns as they were thumped by Darren Moore’s Baggies in convincing fashion.
Leeds were a little lucky to be going into half time at 0-0, but then saw West Brom hit four goals in just over half an hour to take the game away from Bielsa’s side, before Pablo Hernandez grabbed a late consolation.
Norwich City have now taken top spot away from Leeds, and many would understand if Bielsa was left furious with his side’s performance on the road this past weekend.
However, forward Roberts has now revealed that he has never even seen Bielsa ‘blow up’ through anger with his players, suggesting that the Argentinian was ‘OK’ after Saturday’s thumping.
The Welsh international added that he always shakes every player’s hand after every game, win, lose or draw, and whilst he obviously wasn’t pleased at losing 4-1, he didn’t blast his team for such a disappointing display.

“I haven’t seen him blow up,” said Roberts. “He was OK after Saturday. He always shakes everyone’s hand when we come in from the pitch It’s always the same, win or lose. He was obviously not happy about Saturday, but that’s the same in every team after a result like that,” he added
Bielsa at least has the international break to think about that defeat and attempt to mastermind a recovery, and the likelihood is that he already knew that his players were aware of their poor showing, and didn’t need to be lambasted after the full time whistle.
