Leeds United youngster Tyler Denton has been displaced by Tom Pearce.

Leeds United youngster Tom Pearce is a new fan favourite after scoring for the Whites against Barnsley at the weekend.
The future looks bright for the teenager, who is hoping to establish himself as the club’s first choice left-back ahead of Laurens De Bock.
He is not the only Leeds youngster hoping to do so.
Pearce’s emergence is making his teammate Tyler Denton quickly become a forgotten figure.

Denton has been seen as next in line to break through at Leeds for a couple of seasons now, but he has never quite been able to make the jump.
But going back to the start of 2016/17, everything seemed bright for Denton, as it currently does for Pearce.
Denton scored a winner for Leeds on his debut, netting from the edge of the box in the EFL Cup win over Luton Town.
His struggle to kick on since then is a warning for Pearce.

Pearce need only look at Denton’s struggle to build on that memorable moment, to remind himself that he has not made it yet, and has it all to to still.
Denton is under contract at Leeds until 2020, but the way he has fallen down the pecking order to younger teammate Pearce paints a bleak picture for him, and leaves his future at the club in doubt.
