Tyler Denton has left Leeds United after more than 16 years on the books at Elland Road.

Tyler Denton has sent a message to everyone associated with Leeds on Twitter after the left-back’s Elland Road exit was confirmed on Thursday, as the 23-year-old joined Stevenage on a permanent basis.
Denton became the latest player to leave the Whites this summer, with the Championship side confirming on their official website that he has joined Stevenage for an undisclosed fee.
It was a move that probably will not have caught many Leeds fans by surprise. Denton has not played for the Peacocks’ first-team since Garry Monk was in charge and had struggled during his loan spell with Peterborough in League One last season.
The defender has left having not made a league appearance for Leeds. But he certainly made an impression after scoring a stunning winning goal with the outside of his boot from outside the box in the Carabao Cup tie with Luton on his debut.

And Denton has sent an emotional statement on Twitter after completing his move away. He has spent more than 16 years on the books with Leeds, and it is clear that he is incredibly proud to have played for and be associated with the club.
Denton may be a little disappointed that he did not manage to kick on after making his debut in 2016, but he suggested that he leaves with only positive memories of his time with the Whites.
