As English football enters the busy festive period, we take a close look at Fulham’s Championship clashes against Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion, and the FA Cup tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Bournemouth v Fulham (Boxing Day)
Bournemouth are at the top of the Championship table and are having a truly sensational season, which means that Fulham will actually be underdogs for the match at the Goldsands Stadium.
The Cottagers have shown signs of recovery following back-to-back wins against Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday, but they are unlikely to pick up all three points at Bournemouth.
Prediction: 2-1
Fulham v Brighton & Hove Albion (December 29)
With Brighton & Hove Albion currently third from bottom in the Championship, Fulham will have every reason to feel confident of ending the year on a positive note.
Given that the game is at Craven Cottage, Kit Symons’s side should pick up the points with relative ease.
Prediction: 2-0
Fulham v Wolverhampton Wanderers (January 3)
Promoted outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers are having a brilliant season in the Championship and will be determined to kick off the New Year with a win.
This FA Cup third-round tie will be hugely competitive and is tough to call, but Fulham could just edge it.
Prediction: 3-2
