Everton have been offered the chance to move for West Ham United pair Maxwel Cornet and Danny Ings ahead of the transfer deadline.

West Ham United duo Maxwel Cornet and Danny Ings are on offer to Everton on the final day of the transfer window.

That is according to TEAMtalk, who claim that Everton have been offered the chance to sign both Cornet and Ings.

It’s unclear whether that has been proposed by West Ham themselves or the players’ representatives.

West Ham appear ready to wheel and deal though with Cornet and Ings potentially available ahead of the deadline.

The key here is that both Cornet and Ings have played under Everton boss Sean Dyche.

Cornet joined Burnley in 2021 and impressed with seven goals in 22 games under Dyche, but couldn’t stop the Clarets from suffering relegation.

Ings spent nearly three years playing under Dyche at Burnley, racking up 40 goals and 13 assists in 113 games.

Dyche may fancy reuniting with both players in an attempt to land attacking reinforcements, but the clock is ticking.

Maxwell Cornet more likely than Danny Ings for Everton

Everton will surely be tempted by both players, who have previously shown their Premier League qualities.

Cornet seems like the more likely signing though having struggled since joining West Ham last summer.

The Ivorian has only managed 22 appearances for West Ham and played just one minute of league action so far this season.

Cornet hasn’t managed to score a single West Ham goal and with Alex Iwobi potentially leaving Everton, Dyche may feel that Cornet can provide a real attacking threat.

Ings seems a little less likely to materialise today having only left Aston Villa for West Ham earlier this year.

The move hasn’t really worked out for Ings as he has only scored three times in 24 appearances for the Hammers.

Ings has only played 17 minutes for West Ham this season but The Times reported earlier this week that he had already snubbed an approach from Everton.

We can’t see a U-turn right now and simply believe that Cornet is the more likely of the two for Everton.
