Tottenham Hotspur’s first team produced an inspired performance in Turin. But their youngsters were not so fortunate.

Tottenham Hotspur earned respect around Europe last night by fighting back to claim a draw against Juventus in Turin after going two goals down.
But while their first team hit new heights, there was disappointment for the club’s youngsters.
Tottenham’s under-18 side crashed out of the FA Youth Cup, beaten by rivals Chelsea.
Chelsea have been prolific at youth level in recent seasons.

The Blues have won the trophy for the last four years in a row, and in six of the last eight seasons.
Last night Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-0 with Dujon Sterling and Marc Guehi scoring the goals.
England under-17 World Cup winner Tashan Oakley-Boothe featured in midfield for Spurs while prolific striker Reo Griffiths started up front, but neither could prevent their side falling to defeat.
Under-18s coach Scott Parker said after the game, speaking to Tottenham’s official website: “Chelsea were clinical with their chances, at times they dominated the game but in spells we controlled it, without having that real punch to really hurt them.”
Tottenham’s under-18s have been thwarted by Chelsea before in the competition, knocked out in the semi-finals two out of the last three seasons, including a 9-2 aggregate defeat last year.
Spurs had won 3-0 at Bournemouth in the previous round to reach the fifth round, but they were no match for Chelsea’s unstoppable side once again.
