Ronaldo Vieira left Leeds this summer to join Italian side Sampdoria.

Ronaldo Vieira made only his second appearance for Sampdoria on Saturday evening since leaving Leeds United in the summer, as the Italians earned an impressive 5-0 win away from home against Frosinone.
Vieira, 20, left Leeds in the summer in what was somewhat of a surprising move, as he joined Italian outfit Sampdoria for a fee The Guardian claim was worth just £6.2million.
Having made his debut as a seven-minute substitute last time out against Napoli in which Sampdoria produced an unlikely 3-0 win, Vieira then came on for the last 20 against Frosinone as he looks for a chance in the starting eleven.
The England youth international posted on Instagram after the win, congratulating his teammates as he helped Sampdoria to a convincing win, which included a brace from Gregoire Defrel and a Fabio Quagliarella strike.
Making his Leeds debut back in May 2016 under the guidance of Steve Evans, Vieira became a regular in the Leeds side under Garry Monk before being used regularly by Thomas Christiansen and Paul Heckingbottom.
He clocked up 71 appearances in all competitions for Leeds and even current manager Marcelo Bielsa has admitted that he had not expected to lose Vieira, despite offloading more than 20 players this summer.
Current Leeds stars Luke Ayling and Kalvin Phillips congratulated Vieira on Instagram by replying to Vieira’s post, while former Whites striker Souleymane Doukara also replied to the upload.
