With West Bromwich Albion failing to bring in the likes of Ignacio Camacho this summer, it is clear that the Baggies and their boss Tony Pulis were unable to make the additions to central midfield that they wanted.
Keeping this in mind, and with the transfer window now shut until January, West Brom have been rumoured to be looking at former Liverpool man Mo Sissoko (Mail), but there are two other ex-Premier League players for the Baggies to take a look at.

The Ghanian international is a free agent after his contract with Saudi side Al-Ittihad expired, but having only just turned 32, and was regularly involved in Serie A in the 2014/15 season before slipping from favour at AC Milan.

As a powerful and technically proficient central midfielder who operates best as a box to box man, Muntari would be a solid short-term solution if Pulis is adamant he wants someone to come in.
Raul Meireles
Another former Liverpool man, Meireles also took in a period with Chelsea during a two-year spell in England. He has just completed four years with Fenerbahce, helping them win the league and the cup during his time there. He had a serious knee injury in the middle of last season, limiting his appearances, but he still returned before the end of the campaign.

Like Muntari, Meireles is an all round midfielder who can offer a goal threat, and with ten international goals to his name, would represent a boost to Pulis’ ranks in that respect.
