Arsenal v Liverpool
This is the first big test Arsenal will face in their challenge to win the Premier League title.
Liverpool will be aiming to finish in the top four of the league, and Brendan Rodgers’s side will head to North London knowing that they can win against the Gunners.
A single goal could prove to be the difference between the two teams, but this game could also end in a score draw.

Newcastle United v Arsenal
On paper, Arsenal should win this encounter with ease, but Newcastle are entering a new era under head coach Steve McClaren.
The Magpies have not looked particularly great in pre-season, but against a superior side the players will be looking to raise their game.
A win might be possible against Arsenal, but Newcastle do have the potential to pick up a point at least.
