Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is over the moon at the chance of playing Champions League football next season.
Liverpool are now on the verge of a first ever Premier League title – and as much as Brendan Rodgers wants to play down their chances they are five points clear and flying after beating Norwich City 3-2 at Carrow Road earlier today.
But the result also secured Liverpool another accolade … Champions League football.
The Reds are now mathematically assured of a top three finish – meaning they will go straight into the Champions League proper next season regardless of how they finish the campaign.

Luis Suarez very nearly left the club last summer – after demanding he was allowed to talk to teams playing in the Champions League.
One such team was Arsenal – and he was at one point keen to leave – highlighting just how desperate he was to play in Europe’s premier club competition. No offence to Arsenal intended but Liverpool are certainly not an inferior club – Champions League football not included.
And Suarez was clearly pleased to have secured appearances in the Champions League next season – sharing this Tweet after the game…
And while we are at it we may as well look at the rest of the gang – who have been on Instagram and Twitter celebrating their five point lead and CL qualification…
