Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen
Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen made an early impact for Holland in their international friendly with Holland.
His jinking run on the edge of the penalty box put him in a position to square the ball to Giorginio Wijnaldum to score from close range, to put his side ahead against Greece.

Unfortunately that was about as good as it got for Holland and Janssen, as they slipped to a 2-1 home defeat to the Greeks.
The positive from a Tottenham perspective was that Janssen came through without injury, as well as getting another game under his belt to hone his sharpness.
Janssen is yet to score in a competitive match for Spurs, but has looked dangerous in his opening Premier League games, and it is likely to only be a matter of time before he finds the net.

The assist for Wijnaldum’s goal emphasised his creative and selfless streak, which will stand Tottenham in good stead if he can get the same kind of link up going with Harry Kane, another player looking for his first goal of the campaign.
In another international friendly, Moussa Sissoko was a second half substitute for France in their 3-1 win away to Italy.
