Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Nice midfielder Jean Michael-Seri.
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made a bid for Jean-Michael Seri – but it was not the offer French side Nice were hoping for.
Eurosport France report Spurs have made a bid of 15 million Euros for Seri (£13.3 million).
Unsurprisingly it does not appear to have been successful.
Seri has a release clause of 40 million Euros (£35.8 million), The Metro reported earlier this transfer window.

The midfielder is coming off an impressive season in Ligue 1 in which he scored seven goals and provided nine assists in 34 games.
Tottenham are yet to sign any players this transfer window, with chairman Daniel Levy being extremely prudent.

His caution is warranted after paying over the odds for Moussa Sissoko last summer, but their reported Seri offer never stood a chance a chance of being successful.
Frsustration among fans though is building as rivals push on. Spurs are the only Premier League team not to sign a player so far this summer.
There may be an opportunity to meet halfway with Nice, but the £13.3 million is more likely to offend the French side than lead to any serious negotiations.
