The striker was a free agent after leaving Crystal Palace in the summer.

Marouane Chamakh’s Premier League career has not quite gone to plan of late and it got a lot worse for the striker this week with the news that West Brom have decided against offering the former Arsenal and Crystal Palace man a contract, as reported by Sky Sports.
The Moroccan was on trial at the Hawthorns after leaving Selhurst Park in the summer, but Tony Pulis has opted not to sign the free agent with whom he worked for a year in South London, probably after taking a good, long look at his goalscoring record.
Chamakh scored just 10 times in three seasons and 65 appearances at Palace, with his record at previous club Arsenal only slightly better with 14 goals in 67 games and a failed loan stint at West Ham prior to his Palace move.
The striker had been a big hit in France prior to his move to the Emirates, but has become something of a figure of fun in English football due to his failings in the Premier League.
Sky Sports were one of the first to break news of the 32-year-old’s failed move to West Brom and Twitter was naturally merciless and unforgiving in its roasting of the former Bordeaux striker.
Never mind Marouane, some other club will be lucky enough to take you on.
