Leicester City’s chances of retaining their Premier League crown took a severe blow as they were hammered 4-1 away at Manchester United.
First half goals from Chris Smalling, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba shellshocked The Foxes who have now conceded four goals on three separate occasions this season, including earlier in the week in their EFL Cup defeat to Chelsea.
Demarai Gray struck Leicester’s sole reply early in the second half, but Claudio Ranieri’s side were well-beaten and out-fought at Old Trafford and with their third league defeat already equalling the total they set last season, more questions will be raised over their title-winning credentials.

For United, world-record signing Paul Pogba finally grabbed his first goal for the club putting in a man of the match performance to boot, while The Red Devils showed they didn’t need skipper Wayne Rooney who was dropped before the match and only made an appearance as a late second-half sub.
