The Leeds United centre-back had a brilliant 2018-19 campaign, for the most part.

It looks like Leeds United captain Liam Cooper might be getting some international recognition soon.
According to The Daily Record, newly-appointed Scotland boss Steve Clarke has spoken to the Leeds centre-back about a call-up.
Cooper was last drafted into the Scotland squad in 2016, but the Hull-born defender is yet to make his debut.
Clarke’s reign begins with Euro 2020 qualifiers against Cyprus and Belgium next month, and it’s fair to say that fans on Twitter have offered a mixed reaction to his potential call-up.
Cooper, as Leeds fans will testify to, is a brilliant centre-back on his day, but he, like the fans, will be wounded by United’s failure to reach the Premier League – and particularly the manner of their playoff defeat.
Derby County dashed the Whites’ hopes of reaching the top flight earlier this month by beating Marcelo Bielsa’s side – who won the first leg 1-0 at Pride Park – 4-3 on aggregate.
Tragically for Cooper, who had been immense virtually all season long, a defensive mix-up between he and goalkeeper Kiko Casilla contributed to what turned out to be a fatal goal.
