Everton loanee played against Celtic for Anderlecht.

Everton summer signing Henry Onyekuru was in Champions League action last night for loan club Anderlecht.
He started for the Belgian side against Scottish champions Celtic, but was unable to stop his side slipping to a 3-0 home defeat.
It was a good opportunity for Onyekuru to show what he can do against a team who were also interested in the summer.
The 20-year-old played all 90 minutes of the defeat, but was starved of service in attack.

He did not manage to have a shot at goal, although did manage to create one chance for a teammate.
The Nigerian managed just 36 touches, and won one aerial duel.
Everton beat heavy competition to sign him from Eupen in the summer, but needed to send him out on loan as he was not eligible for a work permit.
On the basis of last night, he is not quite ready to make an impact in the Premier League just yet.
It must be noted that Anderlecht are in a transition period, having lost key player Youri Tielemans in the summer to Monaco, they fired their manager after poor results earlier this month.
Here is a look at how Twitter reacted to Onyekuru’s performance…
