Who is Daniel Farke? Twitter reacts to Norwich City’s appointment of the Borussia Dortmund reserve team coach.
Norwich fans in the stands
Norwich City have announced the appointment of Daniel Farke as their new head coach following the sacking of Alex Neil in March.
The German has been in charge of the Borussia Dortmund reserve team since David Wagner left for Huddersfield Town in 2015.

He has signed a two-year deal with the Canaries and has also brought his assistant from Dortmund, Edmund Riemer, to continue as his number two.
It is Farke’s first management position of a first team and can therefore legitimately seem like a bit of a gamble from Norwich – who are clearly hoping for the same success that the Terriers have enjoyed with Wagner.
Norwich fans celebrate
With little known of the 40-year-old outside of Germany it is perhaps unsurprising that most the Carrow Road faithful have never even heard of him.
While the news of his hiring has been generally greeted in a positive fashion by Canaries fans, there have also been some funny reactions on Twitter.
