Celtic’s Patrick Roberts shoots
Patrick Roberts scored a superb goal last night as England’s under-20 side beat Holland 2-0.
The Manchester City owned forward, on loan at Celtic, fired home the opener, after a superb team moved which involved 14 passes.
It was the sort of goal England’s senior side could only dream of scoring.
Also on the scoresheet was Newcastle striker Adam Armstrong, who is currently on loan at Barnsley.
Roberts featured last week as a late substitute in Celtic’s 3-3 draw with Manchester City in the Champions League, for which he was eligible.
