The report has claimed that Premier League club Tottenham are in negotiations with Serie A outfit Inter over signing left-footed central defender Bastoni.

This is an unexpected but pleasant twist in Tottenham’s pursuit of Bastoni as far as Spurs fans are concerned.
That’s because it was only this week when Bastoni’s agent said that the Italy international central defender “will stay at Inter for sure”, as relayed by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Now, that might look steep, but maybe Tottenham could be able to lower it and come to an agreement with Inter.
Bastoni worked with Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte at Inter and won the Serie A title in 2020-21.
