Is there a twist in Leeds United’s pursuit of a new manager?

Leeds United are hoping for a quick appointment after sacking Paul Heckingbottom and it strongly appears Marcelo Bielsa will be the next boss.
After being linked by El Correo last week, Bielsa has emerged as the runaway favourite
But it just wouldn’t be Leeds without a bit of late drama.

Munua is third favourite, priced at 15/2 behind Bielsa and Claudio Ranieri, ahead of Mick McCarthy and Steve Bruce.
So who is Gustavo Munua?
Munua might be more familiar as a goalkeeper than a coach, only retiring three years ago.
The 40-year-old earned 21 caps for Uruguay and played for six years for Deportivo, before a long stint with Levante.

He has held two previous jobs as a first team manager, with Nacional in Uruguay and then LDU in Ecuador, before moving to Spain.
Munua would be a far more underwhelming appointment than Marcelo Bielsa, but with Leeds you can never rule anything out.
