Well, Tanguy Ndombele might not be quitting Tottenham Hotspur for Napoli after all.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have accepted a loan-to-buy offer from the Italian outfit for their French misfit.
At the weekend, it was reported that Tottenham supremo Fabio Paratici would be doing his friend at Napoli a favour by letting Ndombele join them on loan.
A transfer to Italy was looking certain but it would appear as if there’s now doubt.
Football agent Bruno Satin has revealed that he was recently speaking to the man who represents the former Lyon midfielder and suggested that a move to Stadio San Paolo was no longer viable.
He said to Il Napoli Online: “I spoke with Ndombélé’s agent yesterday and I don’t think he can end up at Napoli. He’s a strong player, but Conte at Tottenham doesn’t consider him a starter. He’s looking for space elsewhere and he deserves it because he’s a player of great quality.”

Bad news for Antonio Conte
Ndombele is somebody who Antonio Conte has absolutely no intention of using going forward.
The France international is among the player’s who aren’t even permitted to train with the Tottenham senior squad at Hotspur Way, underlining his marginalisation in North London.
Problem is, Ndombele earns £200,000 per week at Spurs and getting him off the books between now and the end of the transfer window could enable the Lilywhites to bring in somebody else.
But with not many other clubs linked to Ndombele, the Italian manager has to consider the prospect of him being around all season – and not having the resources to sign anyone else this summer as a result.
