Some Arsenal fans on social media have been raving over the performance of Dani Ceballos in their 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace on Thursday evening.

Gunners fans didn’t have too much to shout about as the north London outfit laboured to a goalless draw against a Palace side that have struggled at times this season.

Indeed, Arsenal didn’t but on the most exciting performance of the season so far, but one man who stood out was Ceballos.

The Spaniard has often been criticised this season, but against Palace he showed exactly why he’s on the books at Real Madrid.

Indeed, Ceballos barely put a foot wrong, he had a pass accuracy of 92.5 per cent, while all eight of his attempts at long passes were on the money.

The midfielder drew a lot of praise on social media and we can certainly understand why.

Some fans went crazy over his performance, comparing him to some bona fide legends of the game such as Zinedine Zidane and Andres Iniesta, but perhaps the one that is most interesting is the Mesut Ozil comparison one fan made.

Arsenal are reportedly in the market for a new creative midfielder this summer, but perhaps all they need is for Ceballos to play like this every week.

Here’s what the Arsenal fanbase have been saying about the midfielder on social media…
