Gary Neville has stated on Instagram Live that it was like Wolves turned into Leeds United on Monday evening.
Neville stated before the game that he was expecting Wolves’ match with West Ham United to be a battle of attrition.
However, Nuno’s side really went for it – as they threw caution to the wind in a manner which was reminiscent of Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds side.
The game ended up being a pulsating encounter, which West Ham just came out on top of, winning 3-2.
And Neville couldn’t believe his eyes. He said: “I actually thought it was going to be a bit of a boring game but it wasn’t. Wolves turned into Leeds United on me. They went to a back four and were all over the place!”
Neville’s ‘all over the place’ comments certainly weren’t meant as a slight on Leeds, and the fact they are now being hailed as the division’s most entertaining side shows just how well they have competed since promotion.

Leeds have enthralled all observers this season, and they have managed to deliver successful results in a stylish manner.
Leeds are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table, while Wolves occupy 14th spot, after their entertaining defeat to West Ham.
