PSG midfielder Rabiot was linked with both Spurs and Liverpool throughout the summer.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has told French outlet RMC Sport that he “loves” working with midfielder Adrien Rabiot, but admitted that his future is out of his hands after being linked with Tottenham and Liverpool this summer.
The 23-year-old midfielder was linked with Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs back in July by Spanish newspaper SPORT, with a cut-price fee of £26million touted. The Sun claim Liverpool also fancy the France international.
Rabiot’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season with Tuchel’s side, but the 6ft 3in ace has been a regular in the side since former Borussia Dortmund manager Tuchel took over at Parc des Princes.
Tuchel commented on Rabiot’s future, stating his desire to keep him with PSG as they eye another Champions League assault – but admits that his future is up in the air as he enters the final 12 months of his current contract.
“I really like Adrien, really, I appreciate him, there’s a difficult situation with this World Cup that he missed,” Tuchel said. “He showed an incredible willingness, from the first day in training. He has missed no training, no module.
“You can really trust him. He’s good physically. Currently, he is essential to our device. He has enormous potential. I love working with him but I have no influence on the rest.”

Rabiot has started all five of PSG’s league and cup outings this season, helping the French champions win all five and score 17 goals in the process. He has even got his name on the score sheet, finding the net in a 3-0 win over Caen.
Spurs have long been linked with Rabiot, as they look to finally replace Mousa Dembele in the near future while Liverpool are always on the lookout for new players and Rabiot could be one of those – despite signing Fabinho and Naby Keita.
It remains to be seen whether Rabiot will sign a new contract with PSG, with non-French clubs allowed to approach Rabiot on a free from January 1 on a pre-contract agreement that would see him sign at the end of his contract.
