Norwich City supporters have taken to Twitter to comment on the performance of youngster Max Aarons, who put in quite a shift during his side’s impressive 4-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday.

The Canaries have been on a superb run of form, and extended their winning run to four games as Teemu Pukki, Emiliano Buendia and Dennis Srbeny grabbed the goals at Hillsborough.

There were so many positives for Norwich as they temporarily surged to the top of the Championship table, but arguably their standout player was 18-year-old Max Aarons who once again showed his huge potential.

Here are a selection of the best comments from Norwich fans gushing over his ability:

Max Aarons will be a premier league footballer next season. Whether it’s with us or someone else. He was just f****** immense again today. What a player he is. #ncfc

Aarons has established himself as a regular first-team player for Norwich, replacing the experienced Ivo Pinto who had previously captained the side during Alex Neil’s stint as manager.

Daniel Farke has placed his trust in several Norwich youngsters this season, with Jamal Lewis and Todd Cantwell also regularly starting – and that faith is reaping the rewards with so many impressive performances.

Aarons loves to bomb forward from right-back and he completed two successful take-ons against the Owls, while also posting an 85% pass-accuracy rate and assisting Norwich’s third goal (Whoscored).

There aren’t many better young fullbacks regularly playing in England right now, and on such form, it may not be long until Aarons is playing at a higher level in the Premier League – maybe with Norwich, maybe not.
