Tottenham Hotspur have been one of the quietest clubs in the transfer market so far.
Tottenham Hotspur should move for Fluminense striker Pedro Santos who could end up being the next Brazilian wonderkid to make his way to Europe with a host of top clubs taking a look.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla have already had a bid knocked back for the 21-year-old, with Roma, Milan and Lyon also keen while Globo Esporte claim Bordeaux have made an unsuccessful attempt to sign the youngster.
The 6ft 1inch centre-forward has a 50 million euros clause in his contract, but Estadio Deportivo claim due to Fluminense’s financial troubles they are willing to sell him at half the price (around £22 million).

Spurs arguably need a new central midfielder to compete with Mousa Dembele, a new attacking midfielder to add greater depth and of course a long-term back-up to leading striker Harry Kane.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see either leave before the transfer deadline, though Spurs should seek to strengthen that area and bringing in Fluminense’s Pedro could be a fantastic piece of business.
The 21-year-old has bags of ability, scoring 17 goals in 31 games throughout 2018 and subsequently being selected for the Campeonato Carioca Team of the Year.
Most Brazilian stars move to a smaller European club first before heading off to a top club in a mega-money deal down the line, but why should Spurs wait? Manchester City didn’t with Gabriel Jesus, and at £27 million (Sky Sports) he now looks like a bargain.
Pedro is reportedly available for cheaper, and at 21 he has his whole career in-front of him. With a similar stature and playing style to Kane, he could be a revelation for Pochettino’s side and a gamble worth taking.
