Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris and Christian Eriksen have been in fine form.

According to a report published by the CIES Football Observatory – displayed by Marca – Tottenham Hotspur duo Hugo Lloris and Christian Eriksen have been selected as the best players in Europe in their respective roles over the past three months.
Spurs have been in terrific domestic form since the turn of the New Year, remaining undefeated in the Premier League and reaching the FA Cup semi-finals where they will face Manchester United.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side may be some way off league leaders Manchester City, yet their recent form is just as impressive as the Citizens, and Spurs have arguably played tougher games over the past month.
They faced United, Liverpool and Arsenal in the space of a fortnight, and consolidated their position in the top four with an impressive seven points.

The likes of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Davinson Sanchez have all been superb in recent weeks, yet the standouts in 2018 thus far according to CIES are goalkeeper Lloris and midfielder Eriksen.
France international Lloris tops the goalkeeper chart with a rating of 84.1 (100 being the maximum score) and sees himself above the likes of Roma’s Alisson Becker and City ace Ederson Moraes.
The 31-year-old has proven himself to be a top Premier League number one for years now, and considering his age, Spurs may be able to get at least another three seasons out of him at the very top of his game.

Eriksen is another who is reaching world class level, and CIES have selected him as the best box-to-box midfielder in Europe’s top five leagues over the past three months with a rating of 89.9.
| Goals | Chances Created per game | Dribbles per game | Duels Wn per game | Touches per game | Ball Recoveries per game | Appearances | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Christian Eriksen | 2 | 2.89 | 0.67 | 2.67 | 90.56 | 7.22 | 9 |
As per the table provided by Opta Stats, the Denmark international ace has been vital for Spurs over the past three months, recording on average 90.56 touches and 7.22 ball recoveries per league fixture.
It wouldn’t come as a surprise if the likes of Real Madrid or Barcelona come in the player this summer, though Tottenham will feel Eriksen has the perfect platform to develop further in North London.
