Ipswich Town could sign Callum Elder on loan from Leicester City.

Ipswich Town supporters have taken to Twitter to comment on rumours of the arrival of left-back Callum Elder on loan from Leicester City, with many suggesting that means Jonas Knudsen is on his way out.
A report in the East Anglian Daily Times claims Elder is currently on trial at Ipswich ahead of completing a loan move in January – with a view of a permanent transfer.
The Tractor Boys are in need of several new players this January as Paul Lambert’s side currently sit bottom of the Championship table, seven points from safety.
But Elder’s impending arrival places further question marks over the future of Knudsen, with supporters believing with the Danish international, out of contract next summer, could be on the move.
Knudsen has told reporters he is open to leaving Portman Road, (East Anglian Daily Times), but Lambert has advised owner Marcus Evans that he would like the player to stay.
The 26-year-old has been a first-team regular for Ipswich this season, making 22 Championship starts, but many supporters feel he, like several other first-team members, has under-performed.

Elder spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic and, after struggling to break through at Leicester City, moving out on loan again in January makes plenty of sense.
But with the Australian having never held down a regular spot at Championship level, it represents a risk for Ipswich – especially assuming he is being lined up as a direct replacement for Knudsen.
