Queens Park Rangers host Derby County this weekend.

Queens Park Rangers manager Steve McClaren says he isn’t surprised Frank Lampard has moved into management and feels he has done well so far at Derby County, qpr.co.uk report.
“They are a good team and Frank (Lampard) has adapted well. He has had ups and downs and it is his first experience in the Championship but he is handling it well, McClaren said. ‘I know Frank well from my England days. He is intelligent, always thinking about football and I always knew he would have ambitions of stepping into management’.
Derby are a special club for McClaren. QPR’s manager played there, going on to be an assistant manager under Jim Smith at Pride Park – before having two managerial spells there.
McClaren is still held in good regard by the Rams supporters as they acknowledge his efforts over his two managerial spells, bringing back a sense of excitement following Nigel Clough’s tenure at the club.
McClaren, who took over QPR in the summer, suffered a terrible start to the campaign, but four wins in their last seven matches have moved the Hoops up the table and they arguably play Derby at a good time.

The Rams’ recent victory over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup appears to have had an adverse effect on their league form, as a defeat at Bolton Wanderers and a draw at home to Norwich City have followed.
