Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking at increasing their attacking options.

According to the latest reports in the Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as favourites to sign coveted Nice forward Alassane Plea ahead of the likes of Newcastle United and West Ham United.
With Spurs already keen on Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish with the Mirror claiming a deal is close, adding Plea to the mix would give manager Manuel Pochettino a major selection headache.
Plea is predominantly a centre-forward but he is equally adept at featuring as a wide forward, playing there on several occasions for Nice last term as he hit over 20 goals for the course of the campaign.
Spurs are not exactly light in terms of attacking numbers, but there were question marks last season over the depth of quality beyond the starting XI – no more so than during their 2-1 FA Cup semi-final defeat.

England international and current World Cup golden boot favourite Harry Kane is assured of his spot up front, and in behind Spurs have regularly selected the dynamic trio of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son.
With Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura and out-of-favour youngster Georges-Kevin Nkoudou as other potential options, adding two more to their ranks could see as many as eight players vying for only three spots.
It would leave Pochettino in a difficult position in terms of keeping everybody happy, while constantly rotating the first-team probably would not be the best idea when seeking consistency in performance levels and results.

Signing Grealish, when taking into account his ability, potential and availability, makes plenty of sense but adding Plea to the mix only complicates matters unless Tottenham are looking at offloading one or two.
But with Lamela a solid back-up and Lucas only arriving last January, there would not be a standout senior player who Spurs should actively seek to sell, so it would be interesting to see how Pochettino would deal with the situation.
