Florian Thauvin spent two year at Newcastle United.

According to reports in Ouest-France, Bayern Munich are lining up a £70 million move for Marseille’s Florian Thauvin following his impressive form since signing from Newcastle United.
The report claims the German champions are looking at Thauvin as a potential long-term replacement for 35-year-old Franck Ribery, with the former French international’s contract expiring next summer.
Thauvin has enjoyed incredible success at Marseille over the past 15 months, netting 22 goals in 34 league games last term, while this season he boasts a record of five goals in his opening five games. His form makes a mockery of Newcastle’s decision to sell him in 2017, especially considering the player’s age and how the Magpies never really gave him a chance to settle at St. James’ Park.
Thauvin joined Newcastle in the summer of 2015 and made just 13 Premier League starts that term, failing to score a goal as the Tyneside club suffered relegation to the Championship.
The 25-year-old later joined Marseille on a loan deal while Newcastle were in the Championship in the 2016-17 campaign, and he re-joined the French giants on a permanent deal the following summer.
