Liverpool have made an excellent start to the season.

Former player and current pundit Phil Thompson believes Liverpool must improve at defending set pieces if they are to go on and win the Premier League title this season, Sky Sports report.
The Reds have made a terrific start to the current campaign, taking 23 points from their opening ten games and having beaten the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal away from home.
Goals certainly haven’t been a problem for Jurgen Klopp’s men as they jointly top the scoring charts with 24 goals, yet there have been question marks over their defence with just one clean sheet thus far.
Liverpool’s Loris Karius
Writing in his column for Sky Sports, Thompson feels the Reds need to improve their defensive organisation in set piece situations with goalkeeper Loris Karius playing a key role.
“It has to get better, and it’s very important that they work hard at it in training,” Thompson wrote.
“I’ve noticed that they are working extremely hard with goalkeeper Loris Karius at set plays, because they know in this Premier League that players gather around in the box and try to make it very difficult for them.”
“They have to concentrate much, much more, and eradicate these problems. If they do, I think they’ll be better off.”
Liverpool’s Loris Karius
Liverpool have conceded 13 goals this season, with no team in the top nine conceding more at this stage.
The likes of West Bromwich Albion, Arsenal and Crystal Palace have punished them from set-pieces this season, and others will target them as a potential weakness when facing the Reds.
Jurgen Klopp’s side host Watford at Anfield this weekend, while fellow title rivals Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are also all playing at home.
