Norwich City signed Teemu Pukki on a free transfer in the summer.

Norwich City supporters have taken to Twitter to share their delight at new signing Teemu Pukki’s impact after the striker netted another winner in the 1-0 win at Queens Park Rangers.
The Finland international arrived at Carrow Road as a relative unknown. His contract at Danish side Brondby expired, allowing him to walk away for free and later join Norwich on a three-year deal.
Norwich started the season in need of a boost upfront following the exits of Cameron Jerome and Steven Naismith last season, while fellow striker Nelson Oliveira seems out of the first-team picture.
Not many expected Pukki to come in and establish himself as a top Championship striker right away, yet the former Celtic man has so far been a roaring success with some claiming he’s the signing of the season.
Pukki has scored goals wherever he has been including an impressive 55 strikes in 130 league games at Brondby, finishing the last two seasons as the club’s top scorer.
And so far, he has five league goals in nine games for the Canaries, notching recent winners against Middlesbrough and QPR while also finding the net in the 2-1 midweek victory at Reading.

The 28-year-old is strong on the ball, a willing runner and an ideal player to use as a pivot for fellow attack-minded players, with his link-up play allowing Norwich to push 10 yards further up the field.
With teams such as Stoke City and Leeds United spending eight-figure fees on strikers over the summer (Guardian), evidence so far suggests Norwich’s free transfer signing of Pukki certainly represents a real steal.
