Nottingham Forest have been linked with Hull City’s Max Clark.

According to a recent report in the Hull Daily Mail, Nottingham Forest are looking at signing Hull City’s Max Clark as the player’s contract at the KCOM Stadium is to expire next month.
The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the best young fullbacks outside the Premier League, suggesting it would be a bitter pill to swallow for Hull should he walk away this summer and join a fellow Championship club.
Under the guidance of boss Aitor Karanka who was appointed in January, Forest heave steadily improved and they will consider the playoffs as a realistic aim next season with summer investment.

The former Middlesbrough boss has already brought in several players since arriving at the City Ground, but recent remarks suggests he wants at least another half dozen to bolster his squad.
Clark has made 25 Championship starts for the Tigers this season, establishing himself as a regular under Nigel Adkins and largely impressing over the past six weeks.
He has averaged 2.8 tackles and four effective clearances per league encounter (Whoscored), but it’s his ability to get forward and provide support in attack which has seen him become such a coveted player ahead of the summer.

If Forest manage to sign him ahead of Millwall and other reported Championship clubs, then pairing him with the talented Ben Osborn would give Karanka’s side one of the most exciting left sides outside the Premier League.
Osborn boasts plenty of potential but a lack of fullbacks at the City Ground has seen him slot in at left-back in recent weeks, where his natural position is further up the field where he can cause more damage.
With Clark and Osborn roaming down the left side, Forest will have an abundance of pace, youthfulness and energy over there and it could be a partnership capable of playing Premier league football.
Karanka has added experience to his squad in January with the additions of Ben Watson, Lee Tomlin, Jack Colback, Adlene Guedioura and Costel Pantilimon, and he needs to now balance that out with youth and energy.
