Rangers’ Greg Docherty may be a potential option for Hull City.

According to a recent report by Sky Sports, Hull City have slapped a £20 million price-tag on attacking midfielder Jarrod Bowen as the player is starting to attract the interest of Premier League clubs.
Jarrod has been superb this season, scoring 13 goals, and his influence on the side is increasing with Hull now on a six-game winning run which has propelled them to within four points of the Championship playoffs.
To maintain momentum, the Tigers will be desperate to keep hold of their top players, but a big offer for Jarrod may force their hand and one player who could be an ideal potential replacement is Rangers’ Greg Docherty.
The talented midfielder is similar to Jarrod in that he likes to play in the final third of the pitch and be among the goals, scoring seven and assisting another seven in all competitions this season on loan at Shrewsbury Town.
Docherty is one of the standout performers in League One right now, and a report in The Sun on Sunday (13/1; page 59 on Jan 13, 2019) claims fellow Championship side Rotherham United are eyeing a move for him.
The Sun report says his season-long loan move at the Shrews could be cut short to facilitate a switch elsewhere, and Hull would be wise to move in for him even if Bowen stays at the KCOM Stadium beyond this month.

Docherty isn’t expected to return to the Rangers first-team squad this month following the arrival of Steven Davies at Ibrox on loan until the end of the season.
The Hull Daily Mail ran a piece saying Hull are keen on Docherty, but they haven’t mentioned a source and it could be that initial reports have stemmed from the often-unreliable social media site Twitter.
