Leicester City’s Andy King has been linked with a move away from the club.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Leicester City midfielder Andy King wants to move away from the club after being left out of Claude Puel’s squad for the Premier League campaign.
The Wales international failed to even make it on the bench during the recent Carabao Cup penalty shootout victory over Southampton, with Puel instead opting for Leicester youngster Khanya Leshabela.
With the January transfer window just around the corner, Sheffield United should be looking at ways to strengthen their promotion push to the Premier League, and King represents a fine midfield option.
The Blades generally line up with three midfielders in Chris Wilder’s preferred wing-back system, with Oliver Norwood, John Fleck and Mark Duffy regularly featuring from the start.
Duffy, though, is 33 years of age, and beyond the Irishman there doesn’t appear to be a lot of attack-minded midfielders, apart from squad players Paul Coutts and John Lundstram.
King would certainly provide more attacking depth to Sheffield United’s squad, and some would argue he would be a step-up on Duffy, who has managed three goals and two assists so far this season.

The Leicester ace has plenty of experience, having won promotion from the Championship with the Foxes before making 25 appearances in the east Midland club’s incredible Premier League triumph in the 2015-16 campaign.
King once netted 24 goals over two straight campaigns in the Championship, and for a player who doesn’t rely on his pace, then there’s no reason why he couldn’t replicate that success in Sheffield United’s attacking set-up.
The Yorkshire club currently find themselves in the top six, just three points behind league leaders Norwich City. With further reinforcements in January, they have every chance of achieving promotion come next May.
