Norwich City beat Bristol City 3-2 at Carrow Road.

Norwich City attacker Onel Hernandez put in a terrific performance as he contributed greatly to his side’s 3-2 victory over Championship promotion rivals Bristol City at Carrow Road on Saturday.
The Robins headed into the clash having won seven straight league games – a run that had pushed them into the top six and with eyes on a potential automatic promotion place.
But Norwich proved their top two credentials, twice coming from behind to grab all three points.
While Kenny McLean will take all the plaudits for his two goals from midfield, Norwich’s most threatening player was arguably Onel Hernandez, with the Cuban-born winger tormenting the visitors throughout.
According to statistic website Whoscored, Hernandez recorded an impressive seven shots, four chances created, two successful take-ons and two tackles as he worked tirelessly before departing to a standing ovation in stoppage time.

The German joined Norwich in January 2018 and, like midfield Moritz Leitner, he took a while to settle at Carrow Road before coming to the fore by scoring two late goals in the season opener against Birmingham City.
Hernandez has established himself as a regular over the past few months, restricting the talented Todd Cantwell to a place on the bench. He has started 22 league games, scoring six and assisting six.
Capable of playing in several attacking positions, the former Eintracht Braunschweig man has become an important figure at Norwich and will go down as another bargain buy from the Norfolk club.
