Celtic defender Marvin Compper has barely featured since joining in January.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has told reporters that defender Marvin Compper is enjoying his time at the club but suggested he may not be content with his lack of playing time, the Herald Scotland report.
The 32-year-old centre-back joined Celtic from RB Leipzig last January, yet a frustrating spell out with injury has seen him become somewhat of a forgotten member of the squad at Celtic Park.
Compper sustained a calf injury during a training camp in Dubai, prompting him to miss up to ten fixtures in which Celtic have settled on a solid defensive partnership as they chase a domestic treble.

Commenting on his status at the club, Rodgers assured reporters the player is enjoying his time in Glasgow but admitted he will at some point be questioning his role and looking to come in and play.
“Marvin brings a lot of experience and he was injured towards the end of our camp in Dubai, and that meant others came in and did well. He respects that,” Rodgers told the Herald.
“Both (Charly Musonda included) those players really enjoy it here but at some point, they will want to come in and play.”
Compper has only featured once in a Celtic shirt to date, playing 83 minutes in the 3-0 Scottish Cup victory over Greenock Morton which has since set up a semi-final clash with rivals Rangers.

The German defender is highly experienced having made over 150 appearances for Borussia Monchengladbach and Hoffenheim, while he also had a brief stint in Italy with Serie A side Fiorentina.
During his time on the side-lines, the likes of Kristoffer Ajer, Dedryck Boyata, Jozo Simunovic and Jack Hendry have been vying for starting positions, making his comeback and anticipated involvement even more challenging.
It remains to be seen what Rodgers decides to do with the Hoops squad this summer, as surely one defender would have to leave if Compper wishes to feature more regularly next term.
