According to The Telegraph, West Bromwich Albion are ready to offer Jonny Evans a new contract.
The report claims that the defender is set to see his salary bumped to £75,000 a week after Arsenal failed to secure his signature during the recent summer transfer window.
Evans joined the Baggies from Manchester United 12 months ago and enjoyed a terrific individual campaign at the Hawthorns, putting in a number of impressive performances.

The experienced centre-back also demonstrated his capabilites at international level, helping Northern Ireland qualify for the latter stages at the European Championships in France.
The report caims Arsenal were keen on signing him during the summer, but after boss Arsene Wenger missed out on his signature he then turned to German defender Shkodran Mustafi.
Evans, 28, has accumulated more than 150 Premier League appearances throughout his career yet his still at an age where he could go on to play numerous more years at the top level.
West Brom are keen to continue progressing towards being an established top-fight side competing for top ten finishes, and they seemingly see Evans as one of the key figures in their squad.
Tony Pulis didn’t manage to really strengthen the squad this summer, but tying down Evans to a new long-term deal will no doubt show that the club are intent on moving in the right direction.
