West Bromwich Albion have now been linked with Liverpool’s Joe Allen.

According to the Daily Star, West Bromwich Albion are also keen on signing Liverpool’s Joe Allen.
The report accredits Celtic, Swansea City and West Ham United with an interest in the Welsh international midfielder and now West Brom have joined the race as they look to bulk up their midfield.
The Baggies have been quiet thus far in the summer transfer window, yet Tony Pulis will be keen to add to his squad as he looks to see further progression at the Hawthorns and a top ten finish.

Allen has gradually fallen out of favour at Liverpool ever since joining the club from Swansea, and it appears his characteristics don’t really match what boss Jurgen Klopp is seeking in his side’s midfield.
The 26-year-old made only a handful of Premier League starts last term, and many on Merseyside believe he will likely move on this summer with fellow midfield additions expected to take place.
A return to Swansea has been heavily mooted, and the report in the Daily Star states how the Swans will meet Liverpool’s reported £10 million asking price as they look to take him back.

However, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers knows him will and could plot an ambitious move to sign him north of the border at Celtic Park, while West Ham are also said to be keen on his services.
West Brom evidently face strong competition for his services, though with the guaranteee of regular first-team action under Welsh boss Pulis perhaps they could convince him to join the West Midlands club.
