According to The Sun, West Bromwich Albion are looking to sign Benfica defender Lisandro Lopez in a bargain £4 million deal.
The report claims that the Baggies have watched the Argentine international during his last two matches, and have come away impressed. The player is said to be keen on a Premier League switch.
West Brom haven’t done much business in the transfer window so far this summer, yet boss Tony Pulis is adamant the club can still make some late deals. He is thought to be eyeing up to five new additions.

Lopez is a four-capped international and arrived at Benfica from Argentine side Arsenal de Sarandi in 2013.
Despite a brief spell at Getafe on loan, Lopez has gone on to become a regualar for the Portuguese giants, and helped Benfica lift successive league and cup titles during the past two campaigns.
The report says he is now ready for a switch to the Premier League, having achieved all he can in Lisbon. He is being touted to leave at a potential bargain price of only £4 million.
In a seperate report Sky Sports claims Tottenham Hotspur’s attacking midfielder Nacer Chadli is set to join the club on loan, indicating that Pulis is looking to strengthen all over the pitch.
