Hull City and Stoke City have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur’s Ryan Mason.

According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell midfielder Ryan Mason with newly-promoted Hull City keen to sign him in a £10 million deal.

The report claims that Stoke City are also monitoring the situation but it appears Hull seem the most likely to sign him as boss Steve Bruce is looking to add to his side’s midfield ranks.

The Tigers have a battle on their hands this season following their promotion via the Championship playoffs last term, with off the field affairs still hindering their pre-season plans.

Bruce’s future at the club has been questioned ever since earning promotion back to the Premier League, and as such the club have been extremely quiet in the transfer market thus far.

Mason came through the Tottenham ranks and established himself as a first-team regular during the 2014/15 campaign, yet last season he lost his place following the emergence of Dele Alli and Eric Dier.

The 25-year-old now faces an uphill task in winning back a regular place in the Spurs line-up, and amid heavy competition for places boss Mauricio Pochettino is seemingly happy to let him go.

The Sun claim Tottenham are ready to sell the player, and Hull are hoping to use their former connections with the North London club to thrash out a £10 million deal for the English midfielder.

Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore and Michael Dawson all moved to the KC Stadium from Tottenham, and now the East Yorkshire club are hoping to add Mason to the list.
