Peterborough United and Bristol Rovers have been linked with Brentford’s Jack Bonham.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Peterborough are rivalling Bristol Rovers and several Championship clubs for the signature of Brentford’s Jack Bonham.
The report claims the Brentford goalkeeper, currently on loan at Bristol Rovers, has become a target for numerous clubs as they seek a potential bargain deal with the player’s contract expiring next summer.
Bonham joined Brentford from Watford in 2013 on an original two-year deal as a back-up to David Button. He later signed an extension keeping him at Griffin Park until 2019.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed loan spells at Arlesey Town and Carlisle United, and now he finds himself at struggling League One side Bristol Rovers – and boasting the best save percentage in England this season.

Posh are gunning for promotion back to the Championship this term and currently find themselves in the League One playoffs alongside the likes of Sunderland, Doncaster Rovers and Charlton Athletic.
Bonham has kept eight clan sheets this term and his contract situation at Brentford means he could either walk away for free next summer or move in January – with the Bees likely to accept a knockdown price.
