Norwich City’s Nelson Oliveira could be heading for a January exit.

According to a report by Turkish publication Foto Spor, Norwich City are in discussions with Besiktas over the sale of out of favour striker Nelson Oliveira.
The report claims Besiktas are seeking to loan the player for an initial six months before signing him permanently in the summer, where they will pay an initial £1.75 million fee before adding another £450,000.
Norwich, though, are seemingly keen to sell him in January for £2.65 million with the two clubs working on the finer details.
The Portugal international joined the Canaries in the summer of 2016 but despite scoring over 20 goals in two seasons for the Norfolk club, he has found himself out of favour this term with just 18 months left on his deal.
Manager Daniel Farke signed both Teemu Pukki and Jordan Rhodes on loan last summer, pushing the former Nottingham Forest striker out of contention even for a place in the match day 18.
Norwich’s sporting director recently told the Eastern Daily Press how the club were looking to sell Oliveira in January, and for a striker of his pedigree it shouldn’t be too difficult for the club to find a solution.

Oliveira, 27, has enjoyed spells at Benfica, Deportivo La Coruna, Swansea City and Forest prior to his move to Carrow Road and now his next adventure could take place in Turkey with league contenders Besiktas.
Despite his qualities, the Canaries haven’t missed him too much this season as Farke’s side sit at the top of the Championship table having won 10 of their last 13 league games.
