According to The Sun, Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon in action.
The report claims that Tottenham Hotspur have made a move for the 16-year-old, yet Liverpool are also said to be interested in the player, watching him in action since the start of the season.
Sessegnon only made his professional debut last month, as he competed in Fulham’s entertaining 3-2 EFL Cup victory over Leyton Orient.

The young prospect is predominently a left-back, and his direct style of play and powerful running has already drawn comparisons with Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale – who started his career as a Championship fullback.
Liverpool have often scouted the lower leagues in their bid to sign young English talent, and right now there aren’t many better prospects outside the Premier League than Fulham’s Sessegnon.
He is also thought to be capable of playing further forward in an attack-minded role, and his rapid progression at Fulham could soon see him challenge for a regular first-team spot at Craven Cottage.

Fulham have made a good start to their Championship campaign, and this weekend they picked up a 0-0 draw against newly-promoted Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
Liverpool have also started their season well, with victories over Arsenal, Leicester City and Chelsea and a draw at Spurs.
