Liverpool have been heavily linked with Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

According to a report in Premium Sport, Roma have agreed a five-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola as they line up a replacement for Liverpool target Alisson.
The report claims that the Brazilian goalkeeper is set to leave Roma this summer and both Chelsea and Liverpool are said to be keen, with Liverpool reportedly prepared to pay him a salary of around £100,000 per week.
Liverpool are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer with Loris Karius’s well-documented Champions League final errors seemingly prompting boss Jurgen Klopp to finally seek a change.

Both Karius and Simon Mignolet have been error-strewn between the sticks for Liverpool, and for the club to push on and finally land major silverware, it’s an area which without doubt needs strengthening.
Alisson has been tipped to fill the roll at Anfield, but Roma won’t want their star player to leave without being compensated heavily for his services – and knowing they have a replacement lined up.

With PSG bringing in Gianluigi Buffon following his exit from Juventus, Areola has lost his first-team place in the French capital and with just one year left on his deal it seems his Paris days are drawing to a close.
Liverpool would be making big strides with the capture of Alisson, and at 25 years of age he could provide the Merseyside club with stability between the sticks for the best part of the next decade.
